Sample Submission, Project Queuing and Resource Sharing

  • Please contact Dr. Graham Wiley prior to sample submission. PO or account numbers and completed submission forms must be completed upon sample delivery. Submission forms can be found here.
  • Sample preparation:
    • DNA: 100 ng to 1 ug in <120 uL of 10mM Tris, pH 8 with cold pack
    • RNA: 100 ng to 1 ug in a wet ethanol pellet on dry ice
*ALL nucleic acids should be sent via overnight shipping
  • The Genomics Core has implemented a tiered system in which COBRE investigator projects are given the highest priority, followed by non-COBRE OMRF research projects, and finally be external users. However, due to the high capacity of the Genomics Core, priority conflicts are rarely an issue.
