Genomics Core

The Genomics Core, formerly the Next Generation DNA Sequencing Core, is a readily accessible resource available at OMRF that aims to:

  1. Provide COBRE Investigators and collaborators access to state of the art high throughput genetic analysis platforms, other sophisticated equipment, and experimental capabilities
  2. Transition the Genomics Core from a COBRE-subsidized facility to a self-sustaining business entity supported by users both internal to OMRF as well as external

The Genomics Core partners with the Quantitative Analysis Core to provide the bioinformatics and statistical support to analyze to the fullest capacity the sequencing data obtained by the Genomics Core.

Genomics Core Director: Patrick M. Gaffney, M.D.

Associate Core Director: Graham Wiley, Ph.D.
